As a fan of Gospel music, I painted this diptych as a tribute to Janny and Bill Grein, who composed, "Bread Upon the Water," as performed by the Gaither Vocal Band. It is fitting that the painting is a diptych, which means that the image is composed of two, side-by-side panels that are meant to be viewed as one, just as Janny and Bill were joined in life and in music.
