We visited the local botanical garden, and I was captivated by this little area that I almost missed. I saw it just as I was turning to walk away. I realized that life is very much like this: we risk missing the beauty in the world--and in other people--if we don't take that extra moment to really look, to really appreciate. Deep, rich, jewel-toned colors and an intricate image that's full of visual interest brings home this message.
