We took the kids boating, and it was such a lovely, fun experience for everyone. At one point, a catamaran whispered silently by, and I knew that I wanted to paint it, to capture the delightful day and the love I've always had for the magic of sailing, where you're part of the sea, the wind, the sunshine and the sky. In order to capture this feeling, along with the razzle-dazzle sparkle of sunshine on the sea and sky, I've rendered this scene in a kaleidoscope kind of way, hence the title.
